Although you can install mods manually, its much more practical to use a manager like this one. Its latest version is still in open beta so, despite some bugs that might rarely appear, its a consistent, reliable and easy program to use. Found a brutal workaround: install mo1, copy the mods, profiles and downloads directories from mo2 to mo1 (I wanted to create symlinks using mingw because it worked on win7, but no way to do that with my current win10, anyway.). Usually frozen animation with voice means you either didn't run FNIS or didn't register Skyrim sexlabs/animations. i did the normal steps: i enabled the mods that needed FNIS in MO, ran FNIS and updated the FNIS Behavior (with GENDER and SKELETON patches), installed the file's from the Overwrite folder in MO, enabled them and tried them. If that is indeed the case then maybe someone with more knowledge on the specific subject will come a long and help. i recently installed a couple of mods that use FNIS (because some are not appropriate i shall not list them here, more info below). I personally don't use MO2 so maybe you can in fact use it with Skyrim and it's completely different than MO.
